- 1 Chicken breast
- 250 gm Barley
- 50 gm Peas
- 100 gm Broken wheat (packet)
- 1 Onion (sliced)
- 1 tbsp Ginger/garlic paste
- 4 Green chilies (chopped)
- as required Coriander leaves (chopped)
- 1 tsp Black pepper powder
- garnished Mint leaves (chopped)
- for garnishing Lemon
- as required Salt
- 4 tbsp Oil
Harissa Recipe is a spicy and delicious dish of Arabic origin. It is prepared with chicken breast piece, onion, green chilies, peas, black pepper, ginger/garlic paste to give it a perfect blend. Harissa Recipe is a popular recipe can be easily prepared at home.
Put oil in a pot on low flame and fry onion till it softens.
Add ginger/garlic paste and chicken breast.
Cook till chicken turns white.
Drain barley, broken wheat and green peas and add salt, along with 1, 1/3
Cook on low flame.
When gravy starts to boil and becomes a little thick, add 2
Stir continuously when all the ingredients are well combined,
Remove chicken breast from the pot, hammer it fine and put it
Add black pepper, green chilies and coriander leaves.
Take it out in a dish.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
