- 250 grams Fresh fenugreek leaves
- 100 grams Fresh spinach
- 2 medium (finely chopped) Onion
- 1 medium( cut into very small size) Potatoes
- 1-2 pinch Asafoetida
- seeds 1 tsp Cumin
- 4-5 ( finely chopped) Garlic
- 2 (finely chopped) Green chilly
- as per taste (1/2 tsp) Salt
- 1-2 tbsp Oil

Wash chopped fenugreek leaves,drain and keep aside ( wash them 2-3 times in water to remove soil or any grim it might have on its leaves).
Heat oil in a pan over medium flame.Add asafoetida and cumin seeds and saute until cumin seeds turn light brown. Add finely chopped onion and saute until onion turns transparent. Add finely chopped garlic and saute until light brown for approx 20 to 30 seconds.
Add potato, finely chopped and washed fenugreek leaves and spinach leaves and salt.
Mix well and cook over medium flame for 3-4 minutes . keep a constant check sabzi. if the potatoes are still hard cook for 3-4 minutes.
