Ingredients
- 500 gm minced meat/kheema
- 2 TBS OIL
- 2 (finely chopped) Onion
- 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 2 medium size tomatoes finley chopped (optional)
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
- optional 1/2 cup green peas
- for garnishing 4 lemon wedges
- 1 bunch of dill leaves or suva bhaji

Keema is a delicious meat delicacy prepared using mutton mince, green peas, onions, tomatoes. This simple minced mutton preparation is cooked with a variety of whole and dried spices. Steps
1 Done | Firstly, wash mutton keema and strain out the excess water from the keema with a strainer. |
2 Done | Take a pressure cooker or a cooking vessel. |
3 Done | Into it add oil and heat it. |
4 Done | Then add chopped onions and saute until the onions turns very slight brown color. |
5 Done | Add ginger garlic paste and saute to get ride of raw smell. |
6 Done | Add mutton keema into it and roast well. Roast it until the keema changes its color and there is not water remaining. |
7 Done | Add salt, turmeric powder, Red chili powder,garam masala powder,black pepper powder mix it and roast it for few minutes and cook until oil appears at the sides. Now add chopped tomatoes mix and cook until the tomatoes turn soft. then add green peas(optional)again mix well. |
8 Done | Add about 1 1/2 cup of water mix it well. |
9 Done | Pressure cook the keema for 3 whistles on sim flame or cook them until it gets tender. |
10 Done | Reduce the steam. |
11 Done | While the meat is getting cooked, wash and chop the dill weed. Add the chopped dill to the vessel or pressure cook and stir. Cover and let this cook for another 5-6 minutes over low heat. |
