Hara Keema has a very vibrant green colour with the perfect taste balanced with coriander and green chillies freshly grounded paste…..Quick, healthy side dish that can be made on regular basis. The Green Masala adds the nice flavors to the goat meat (keema). Serving this with roti, kulcha or naan would be very delicious and yummy.
Here is my Recipe of Hara Matar
Firstly, wash mutton keema and strain out the excess water from the keema with a strainer.
Heat oil in a deep skillet or pan.
Then add chopped onions and saute until the onions turns very slight brown colour.
Add the remaining ginger garlic paste and saute to get ride of raw smell.
Add mutton keema into it and roast well. Roast it until the keema changes its colour and there is not water remaining.
After 5-6 minute add 1 tsp crushed & roasted cumin, 1 tsp crushed & roasted coriander, 1 tsp pomegranate powder, 1 tsp black pepper powder, 1 tsp chaat masala, 1 tsp dry mango powder, salt to taste, 2 tbsp water mix it & roast it for few minutes.
After 20 - 30 minutes open the lid & add 1 medium sliced onion,1/2 cup green peas,1 tbsp fresh coriander, 2 tbsp fresh mint leaves, 2-3 dried peppers, 1-2 green chilli mix it very well and adjusting salt/chilli to your liking.
Again cover the lid and cook for 5-7 minutes over low heat.
Grind 2-3 green chillies, 1/2 tsp salt, & 1 full bunch of fresh coriander leaves together to a fine paste adding little water.
Once done, sprinkle garam masala and squeeze the lemon.Give it a quick mix and you’re done!
