- Rice flour 1 cup
- Oil 1 1/2 tbsp + for drizzling
- Salt to taste
- Water 2 cup
Ghavan is a traditional breakfast recipe from Konkan region of Maharashtra. It is made up of regular Rice flour and oil. This recipe is good for breakfast and snack.
Place rice flour in a bowl. Add 1½ tbsp oil and salt and mix well. Add 2 cups water slowly and stir continuously to make a smooth batter. Set aside for 10-15 minutes.
Drizzle a little oil all around and cook till the underside is light brown. Flip over, drizzle a little oil again and cook till the other side is light brown. Similarly make more ghavan.
Transfer the ghavan on a serving plate and serve hot.
