- 250 gm Mutton mince
- 1 Onion grated
- 4 to 6 cloves garlic
- 1 inch ginger
- blanched spinach 1/2 cup
- 1/2 cup Green Coriander leaves
- 1-2 tbsp Fresh mint leaves
- 3-4 Green chilies (chopped)
- 4-5 black pepper
- garam masala powder 1 tsp
- 1 tsp Gram flour
- 1 potatoes, boiled and mashed
- Salt to taste
- oil to shallow fry
It is very healthy recipe. Added palak/spinach puree to the meatballs which gives the lovely color and also adds to the nutrients.
These spinach Meatballs are so yum that the disappear quickly…They make a lovely snack and can be also served as a starter in parties. These spinach meatballs are crisp from out and soft melt in mouth inside.
Firstly, wash mutton keema and strain out the excess water from the keema with a strainer.
Boil the potato,great or mashed it and keep aside.
Blanch a small bunch of palak/spinach and puree it.
In a grinder/mixer add onion, garlic , ginger, mint leaves , coriander leaves, green chili, black pepper and grind.
then add mince, garam masala powder, salt. Again grind till all is combined.
Now add palak/spinach puree, egg, boiled potato, besan(gram flour), 1 tsp lemon juice/as needed mix well.
Keep it in the fridge for 30 minutes.
