- 1 packet Red jelly
- 1 packet Green jelly
- 1 packet Yellow jelly
- 3 cups Vanilla custard
- 1 medium can or Fresh Fruits like Fruit cocktail
- 125 gm Cake Rusk
- 200 gm Fresh cream
- as required Strawberry sauce
Ingredients For Custard:
- 3 cup Milk
- 4 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Vanilla custard powder
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
I love trifles, they are my absolute favorite..I have tried them in one of the bakery. They use a awesome sponge cake base which is filled with creamy custard and topped with jelly. I took that theme and made it so simple…I used awesome stuff of fresh fruits as they are healthy to use either than the Fruit Cocktail can. I made a simple custard using ready made custard powder. Totally this trifle is a masterpiece with no effort. You can serve this for any parties, I am sure that your guest will be wowed by this desert.
Dissolve all the 3 jellies separately in 1 cup of water each, cook and set till firm, cut into cubes and keep aside.
Coarsely chopped 125 gm cake Rusk and place into base of individual cups, sprinkle with fruit syrup, spread with fruit cocktail or fresh fruits, pour custard then jelly cubes, then custard, refrigerate till chilled.
Decorate with fresh cream and strawberry sauce.
Method For Custard:
Boil milk, add sugar,vanilla essence and vanilla custard powder, cook till thickens, remove from fire and keep it aside.
