- Any Fish slices 5-7( Clean & Apply Salt all over the slices & Leave it till u prepare the masala approx 10-15 min.)
- 1 Cup Grated Cocomut
- 4 Green chili
- 5 Cloves Garlic
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 2 tsp Red chili powder
- 3-4 tbsp Cooking Oil
- 4-5 Curry leaves
- to taste Salt
- 3 kokam
- 1 tbsp Fresh coriander leaves
It is a typical Kokani recipe which is like by most of the people living in Maharashtra. It is so Yummy!!! that all of my family serve with a Masala Kichadi & kachummar.
Take a Mixture Jar put coconut, garlic cloves, coriander leave & green chilies to make a smooth paste.
Take a clean bowl add the cleaned fish as mentioned above than add the smooth paste, turmeric pwdr, red chili pwdr, salt to taste mix well for 5-10 mins.
Now Heat oil in the vessel and put curry leaves like giving a tadka than insert it in the Step 2.
Now mix it well with hand the step 3 process than in the same pan put this mixture (if needed add little water so that it gets mixed well)
Cook Well add little water gradually for atleast 5-7 mins. Finally add kokum & gently stir cover it with a lid. Cooked on low flame for 7-8 mins. or till you know the fish is cooked. Serve it hot!!! with Plain Rice or with Masala Kichadi.!!!.!!!!.!!!!
