- 200 gm Green lentils
- 1 medium ( finely chopped) Onion
- 1 cup Coriander leaves(chopped)
- 1/2 tsp Red chili powder
- 3-4 ( cut into very small pieces) Green chilly
- 1 long piece ( grated) ginger
- 1 tsp Coriander ( dhaniya ) powder
- 1 tsp Cumin powder
- 1-2 pinch Asafetida
- to taste Salt
- for frying Oil
Moong dal pakora are very crispy and tasty, they are very good option for a tea time snack or whenever you feel to eat something mildly spiced. You will love it for sure.
Add the chopped green chilies, ginger and asafeotida and coarse paste (grind for a min. not make a fine smooth paste other wise you will not get a good pakora).
After transfer the coarse paste in the bowl add red chili pwdr, coriander leaves, onion, coriander pwdr, cumin seed pwdr, salt to taste & mix it properly.
Put oil in a frying pan and heat it. Take out small lumps from the mixture and put them in the frying pan. You can put 8 to 10 lumps in the frying pan at a time. After they turn brown, take them out in a plate. Repeat this process for the remaining mixture.
Your Green Lentils Pakora are now ready to serve and eat along with mint chutney & Enjoy the crispy pakora.
