- 1 kg Mutton
- 2 medium Onion
- 2 medium Potatoes
- 10 black pepper
- 8 Cloves
- 2 inch piece Cinnamon
- 2 Black cardamom
- 2 Small cardamom
- 4 tbsp Whole Coriander (dhaniya)
- 1 & 1/2 tbsp Ginger/garlic paste
- 1 cup Yogurt
- 1 tsp Shahi zeera
- 1/4 cup Oil
- 750 gms Rice soaked
- to taste Salt
- 1 cup Whole Coriander
Take a Cooker and add mutton 1 onion cut into pieces, ginger-garlic paste, yogurt, salt, whole gram masala & Potli bag, 8 cups of water. Cook it till mutton is tender.
In another cooking pot add oil heat it and cut potato in to 4 small pieces and fry it for 5 min. after remove the potato and keep aside. Add shahi zeera, 1 medium onion, whole gram masala steer it well till the onion turns to pink in colour.
Add Salt ginger-garlic paste fry it very well then add boiled mutton along with the stock cooked it for 2 min. when stock starts to boil, first remove the potli bag then add soaked rice & cooked it on medium flame for 10 min. (If water is needed than add to it)
Finally steam it for 10-15 min. Garnish with coriander leaves or Birista
Serve HOT with a Raita. HAVE A GOOD HEALTHY FOOD.
